When we think Company Flow, we think the reinvention of underground hip-hop in the mid-90s, we think aggressive, witty, dense, unrelenting rap, we think Rawkus, we think El-P, we think Funcrusher Plus and the knowledgeable of us think DJ Mr. Len. How many of you had Bigg Jus immediately cross your mind after I mentioned Company Flow? Probably none. Jus was the last in, first out of the prolific NYC crew, but his as-impenetrable lyrical flow counterpointed El-P’s with skill and aptitude.
