Clue to Kalo is Adelaide resident Mark Mitchell. Come Here When You Sleepwalk reminds of early Twisted Nerve or City Slang material, evoking beautiful melodies that embrace complex rhythms and off-kilter sounds, Mitchell's singing combining with all this to great effect. It's an album which rewards with repeated listening, as tracks like "I Think We Can Kinetic" will testify. Excellent. - DMC |
