MH-270 Loden - Buggy  Brussels’ Loden makes a resounding return to Mush Records with his second album, Buggy. Loden boldly explores new sonic landscapes, shaping the undulating layers and elaborate arrangements of digitally generated sound that defined his Mush debut, Valeen Hope, over more cadenced production. | Loden’s third album, Buggy, has got a glitchy, IDM Dance sound. Similar to Harmonic 313 or maybe Dabrye or Tycho, there is a dark, urban sound here, a mix of ambient with the afore mentioned glitch and a heavy drumbeat that forms a steady, deliberate sound. The tracks are all very short, the longest clocking in at three and a half minutes, but the tracks are full and complete. The album is gritty yet approachable and easy to listen to straight through. An excellent album for an after hours party. - WRUV |
