Taken from their second full-length release, Ten, cLOUDDEAD's original mix of "Dead Dogs Two" finds the group in top form, as an infectious melody, live bass, and signature drum programming from odd nosdam encompass vocals from Doseone and why?. The bonus cut, "Mulholland Instrumental" comes from the same sessions that spawned parts of their new album, and finds cLOUDDEAD revisiting the sweeping pads and ambient drones of their debut. Starting with the vocals from the original, Boards Of Canada create a new backing track of epic strings and analog keyboards with an absolutely pitch-perfect ending. |

| As three of the main creative forces behind the Anticon movement, cLOUDDEAD's Doseone , why?, and odd nosdam are used to melding mild psychosis onto disarming hip-hop beats. And what better way to rush towards your imminent suicide - for upcoming album, Ten, will be their last - than by causing grown, bearded men in trucker hats the world over to weep and not quite know why? The childish lyrical delivery of "Dead Dogs Two" belies some serious lateral thinking, but it's a buzzing bassline that will reach inside and strum on various internal organs.
