| Electrofunk auteur and Miami head Eliot Lipp defects from Hefty to the home of avant-hopisms, Mush for a scuzzy late night smokers album in his unique style. Kicking off with the Dabrye alike 'The outside', a woozy electro precedent is set for the rest of the album, as we skim through lo slung funk treatments on 'best friend' through to I.D.M styles reminiscent of Supersoul (who incidentally mastered the album and really pulls out some serious bass) on 'baby tank', lush synthwork on 'beyond the city' or the awesome off kilter krautrock styles of 'the meaning'. Lipp is on top form here, never resting on one style for more than a tracks length and in the process giving an ample showcase of his electro virtuosity that actually sits really well in the Mush catalogue.
