Major Distribution Changes For Mush Records | 09/2007 | We are thrilled to announce that we've made some major distribution changes at Mush. Effective immediately, we will be exclusively distributed by SC Distribution, which is also home to the labels Secretly Canadian, Jagjaguwar, Dead Oceans, Asthmatic Kitty, K Records, Temporary Residence, and Tomlab, among others. In addition to selling direct to most mom-and-pop stores, SC Distribution utilizes ADA for much of its USA coverage, and a number of distributors outside of the USA. While some distribution outside of the USA will remain the same (for example, Differ-ant in France) the distribution for some territories will change over the next few months (keep checking back for more details). If you are a USA store, please contact your SC Distribution or ADA sales rep for more details. If you are a store outside of the USA and are not sure which distributor to contact in your country, please contact SC Distribution for an answer. Our digital distribution is now being handled by Digital Rights Agency (who have recently merged with The Orchard). This transition should be seamless and you will continue to be able to find our titles on all of the major download services including iTunes and eMusic. We have also taken the opportunity that the distribution switch has afforded us to continue dropping our list prices (for example, CDs are now listed at $11.99). This means that regardless of where you are picking up your Mush releases, they should be some of the most affordable in the store. Thanks to everyone for the continued support and special thanks to Revolver Distribution for being a great home for the last five years. |
