Daedelus and Boom Bip (like us) are massive fans of Richard Kelly's masterpiece and here take elements of the film soundtrack and vision to provide a side each for this seven-inch homage. Daedelus continues his sampling madness, fusing odd time signatures (play at 33 or 45), with rustic rhythms making an oddly demented jam that'll weird you out like the movie itself, complete with sublime piano sampling to make your hairs stand on end. Boom Bip takes a sideways slide away from his melodic material to get into a weirdly euphoric rolling drum beat jam, with layers of droning harmonics that bring the eighties soundtrack in the film to mind. 2000 copies for the world with a strict no repress policy.
