| Her Space Holiday have dispensed with electronica for more mainstream sounds on XOXO, Panda And The New Kid Revival. A certain pop sensibility is married to an acoustic guitar rather than a silicone chip, but as the album wears on it becomes predictable in places, the vocals barely suggesting any nuance and the instrumentation lacking experimentation. It's as if the core decision to shift style was considered enough. It wasn't. - Somerset County Gazette |
