Antimc Remix All Over The Internet | 01/2007 | Antimc teamed up with fellow Los Angeles producer/DJ Them Jeans to create a remix of Europe's "The Final Countdown" to commemorate New Year's Eve 2006-7. They didn't know the excitement would last into the new year, as it is receiving over 1,000 downloads per day on average, and has been posted by such great music blogs as Discobelle, and Still Listen (who have fed it to every major RSS network online), as well as upstarts like Sweden's RiskyBizniz, while clothing company FredFlare has shown it some love on their site as well. |

Pedro To Release New Album On Mush | 01/2007 | Mush Records recently received Pedro's latest release, entitled You, Me & Everyone. This album sees him exploring some new terrain, leaving some of the old folktronica stuff behind and becoming more experimental. Andre Afram Asmar To Play Trilogy Q06 | 10/2006 | Andre Afram Asmar will be performing for all three days of the Trilogy Qualifier at the National Orange Show in San Bernadino, CA. Also on this huge bill are Z-Trip, Mike Jones, Barrington Levy, E-40, Jim Carroll, the Shapeshifters, and many more. Andre's main stage set will feature a live backing band performing songs from Racetothebottom. In the DJ Dome, Andre will be performing a live dub session with an added percussion section. Antimc Delivers Debut Solo Full Length | 08/2006 | Antimc has handed in the master to his first full-length solo album, It's Free, But It's Not Cheap. Recorded while working on his previous Mush releases and in between touring with Boom Bip, Busdriver, Radioinactive, among others; the album is a collection of nine songs, with guests: Anthony Anzalone (frontman of Japanese hardcore band Issei Sagawa, formerly of the Mean Reds), Busdriver, Cadence Weapon, Andrew Broder (the mastermind behind Fog), Saafir, and Mark Mitchell (of Mush Records' own Clue to Kalo), that will establish him as one of Los Angeles' elite beatsmiths as well as a producer/songwriter in his own right. The album has been licensed for the UK and Europe by upstart Scottish label KFM Records. Look for the album to release this fall. |
