Eat Sugar want you to know that they are a rock band, but you might need to reevaluate what you’ve come to think that is. Find yourself at one of their shows and you'll hear electronics, but you won’t see a laptop - nothing prerecorded or sampled, only dudes laying into their instruments like their lives depend on it. You'll also notice that by freeing themselves from the tyranny of the guitar, the band has opened up a world of ways to forgo the familiar while still rocking out.
