A lifelong purveyor of obscure jazz, world-beat, and early electronic music, Antimc delves deep into his record library for his DJ tool series Bitter Breaks. The collection of rare grooves, loops, and stabs follows the Mush framework for DJ tool projects set by Boom Bip's Doo Doo Breaks and Blockhead's Broke Beats. While most break records are content with compiling the original loops used on memorable hip-hop tracks, Antimc digs deep to create tracks that are as usable in a rare groove DJ set as they are as an MC backing track.
