| The Scottish post-punk synth rockers know all about the beauty of brevity and how to make up songs that get in your face with engaging enthusiasm. This second album boasts a thrillingly varied repertoire from the off, impossibly evoking and entwining the spirits of Killing Joke and Kraftwerk in the introduction of "Ring Ring Oo Oo." "Get It Boy" boasts one of those stirringly infectious choruses that will trail you all day, while "Dedridge Cowboys" is a knowing wink to Lothian's wild west. Could yet be huge. - Scotland On Sunday |
