Nicodemus' Earth is a collection of jazzy dancefloor grooves, live instrumentation, dubbed out beats, and the vocal stylings of Kinetic and Zezo One. The EP's opening track, "Jeannie's Potion" is a midtempo jam with a hipshaking bassline and a floor moving vocal sample. "Gibraltar" follows with a stunning Spanish guitar solo by Zeb over ethnic rhythms. Powerful lyrics, bugged out flow, and spacey production propel the hard hitting "Metotronic" into "Original Dub," which closes the EP with an off kilter dub groove. Earth displays all the elements of a Nickodemus DJ set: organic grooves made for the dancefloor, live instrumentation, unique samples, and thoughtful lyrics.
