| Into The Wild |  | 09/2007 | Into The Wild is set to open nationwide, this weekend. The movie stars Emile Hirsh and has a great supporting cast including, Marcia Gay Harden, William Hurt, Jenna Malone, Brian Dieker, Catherine Keener, Vince Vaughn, Kristen Stewart, and Hal Holbrook. And is written and directed by, none other than, Sean Penn.
The film depicts the true story of Christopher McCandless who, abandoned his possessions, donated his life savings, and hitchhiked to Alaska, to live in the wilderness. Be sure to note the music during the scene with Christopher by the campfire on the beach. The song is "The Water Ran This Way Back And Forth" from our very own Pedro.
