Fanatic Promotion To Work Busdriver And Daedelus | 06/2005 | Fanatic Promotion has agreed to work Busdriver's Fear of a Black Tangent and Daedelus' Exquisite Corpse for radio. Busdriver will be going for adds late this month, followed by Daedelus early next month, and if Fanatic's track record is anything to go by, you should be hearing a great deal of these records soon. |

Busdriver Nominated For Diesel U-music Award | 05/2005 | Congratulations to Busdriver for being nominated in the hip-hop catagory of this year's Diesel U-Music Awards. Busdriver To Play Columbia University With Common | 04/2005 | If you are in NYC on April 30, Columbia University will be holding a free event featuring Common and Busdriver from 3PM-5PM. Busdriver goes on right at 3PM and there are no opening acts, so be sure to get there on time. The event will be held outside on the Columbia University campus. |
Dax Pierson Benefit Shows | 04/2005 | Our good friend Dax Pierson (of Subtle, Themselves, and 13 & God) was in a serious van accident while on tour with Subtle earlier this year. He shattered his C5 vertebrae, which is located at the base of his neck, and is currently experiencing paralysis from his nipple line down. Thankfully, the other members of Subtle escaped with only minor injuries. Although Dax's hospital stay is covered with health insurace, much of his long term recovery and care is not. A number of artists and record labels are holding benefit shows to help with Dax's family's financial burden. Mush artists Busdriver and Radioinactive will join Subtle, Damon Aaron, and The One AM Radio for a benefit show at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on May 2nd. There will be additional benefit shows in Brooklyn, Chicago, London, and San Francisco with performances by DJ Signify, El-P, Four Tet, Hood, Matmos, Jel, Alias, and many more. Support for these shows come from Anticon, Lex, Warp, Rhymesayers, Definitive Jux, Biz3, and Mush. Additional cities, shows, and acts are still being added.
