Antimc Delivers Run	06/2003	Antimc has delivered his first EP to Mush Records, entitled Run. The EP features appearances from Los Angeles hip-hop stalwart Subtitle, and jazz legend Les McCann. The record will be released toward summer's end and will be in stores then.

Mush In Tokyo	06/2003	Busdriver, Radioinactive, and Daedelus as The Weather will be in Tokyo for a one-off gig. Joining them are AWOL One and Andre Afram Asmar. The show is being sponsored by Onsa, one of Japan's best record stores. All show information has been added to the bottom of the Mush Records Spring Tour listing on the shows page.

cLOUDDEAD Delivers New Record	05/2003	Two plus years in the making, cLOUDDEAD has delivered the follow-up to their groundbreaking debut. Titled Ten, the album is everything you would expect from cLOUDDEAD. It has been licensed to Big Dada for release outside the US and should release in spring 2004.

Curse Ov Dialect Named Next Crop Artists	05/2003	Continuing a great run of press in their native Australia, Curse ov Dialect have been named a "Next Crop Artist" by the Australian Broadcasting Corp.'s Triple J. Congratulations!

Omid And Busdriver Support Amnesty International	04/2003	"Shock and Awe" from Omid's new release Monolith, which features Busdriver, will be featured on an anti-war compilation. All proceeds will go to Amnesty International. Other artists donating tracks include Mr. Lif, Living Legends, Zion I, and Roots Manuva.

Omid Delivers Mush Release	04/2003	Hot off the success of his self-released Distant Drummer, Omid (of Beneath the Surface fame) has agreed to and delivered his first Mush release. The full-length is titled Monolith and is split 50/50 between vocal and instrumental tracks. Guest emcees include Hymnal, Busdriver, Buck 65, Abstract Rude, 2Mex, Spoon (of Iodine), Aceyalone, Murs, Luckyiam.PSC, and Slug. Check for it in the fall. An Urb "B Sides" and an Urban Smarts interview have been loaded to our back press.

Fun Come Save Me	04/2003	Check out this month's issue of the great indie-rock magazine Devil in the Woods for an article on indie hip-hop. One of our favorite writers Julianne Shepherd spoke to some of the underground's most important acts including Doseone and Busdriver.

Andre Afram Asmar Delivers Percussion EP	04/2003	Andre Afram Asmar has delivered an EP made entirely with percussion and the human voice. Recorded in live sessions throughout Southern California, and tweaked at his home studio in Santa Monica, the EP is titled Transmigration and will be out fall '03.

Mush Tour Spring 2002 Live DVD	04/2003	The final two shows (San Francisco and Los Angeles) from last year's Mush Tour Spring 2002 featuring cLOUDDEAD, Reaching Quiet, Boom Bip & Doseone, Radioinactive, and Labtekwon were professionally filmed and recorded. We just wrapped up the editing on a DVD that combines live footage from all of the acts with candid shots from the rest of the tour. The DVD will be released in June.

Sixtoo And Stigg Of The Dump Are Villain Accelerate	04/2003	Sixtoo and Stigg Of The Dump have joined forces to deliver a one-off project, under the name Villain Accelerate, called Maid Of Gold. The all-instrumental album was recorded in Halifax and Montreal and will be released by Mush sometime later this year.

AWOL One & Daddy Kev In Nightlife	04/2003	Nightlife, a magazine from Canada in French has an article on AWOL One & Daddy Kev this month.

Mush Tour Spring 2003	04/2003	Mush is proud to announce its spring 2003 Tour featuring Busdriver and Radioinactive as The Weather, AWOL One, and Andre Afram Asmar. They will be playing 33 shows from April 10th to May 27th.

Clue To Kalo Delivers List To Dusted	03/2003	This month's issue of Dusted has a Listed feature on the records Clue to Kalo most often plays at work.

Daedelus Rethinks The Weather	03/2003	Daedelus showed up at the Mush office with a complete reworking of the instrumental backing tracks from The Weather. The tracks have gone through a complete overhaul leading to a release that walks the line between a remix record and completely new compositions. Look for it in your local shop this summer.

Shapeshifters DVD	03/2003	Look for the new Shapeshifters DVD, Terrorists From Another World, at your local hip-hop shop. In addition to videos from The Shapeshifters, 2Mex, Subtitle, and Andre Afram Asmar, AWOL One has included a video for "Rules of the Week", from his upcoming Mush release Slanguage. There's also lots of candid footage, including a performance of "Farmer's Market of the Beast" from Omid's classic Beneath the Surface that was taped at last year's Mush Tour Spring 2002, Los Angeles show at the El Rey. Xololanxinxo, All Deadly Jizzm, Radioinactive, AWOL One and Circus all came out for the performance.

Listener's Debut To Be Released By Mush	02/2003	Listener, from the crew Deepspace5 has signed to Mush for his new release, Whispermoon. The album features guest spots from his Deepspace5 and Labklik partners, as well as Manchild and Dust from Mars Ill. Look for it to drop this summer.

Boom Bip And Doseone Tour Europe	02/2003	Boom Bip and Doseone are playing a series of gigs in Europe to support Boom Bip's Seed to Sun. Check Lex Records for more info on dates and locations.

Curse Ov Dialect Deliver New Release	02/2003	Mush has picked up the new release from our favorite Aussie hip-hoppers, Curse ov Dialect. Lost in the Real Sky combines theatrical vocals, political lyrics and top-level production, and should appeal to Mush's most adventurous fans. Look for it this summer. We have also added a back article in Australia's 3D World entitled "Cursed Words."

Jel EP	02/2003	Due to overwhelming demand, Mush will release Jel's The Meat & Oil EP in the US on vinyl in May. The EP was originally issued in Japan by Tri-Eight to supplement their license of 10 Seconds.

Hostess To Work Japanese Publicity	01/2003	Japan's top independent publicist, Hostess, has agreed to promote this year's Mush releases. Hostess works a number of amazing labels including Domino, Fat Cat, !K7, Novamute, and Tigerbeat6. All Japanese press requests should be directed to Plug at Hostess.

Bleeding Edge	01/2003	Check out this month's issue of Urb for the article "10 Rappers from Hip-Hop's Bleeding Edge" by Mosi Reeves. Doseone, Busdriver, AWOL One, and Aesop Rock all made the list.
